As the table below demonstrates, the jobs created during the Reagan expansion were not low-paying. Indeed, most of the jobs created were in the professional and technical fields.

Also, the service sector job growth was fourth, behind professional, technical, and production sector jobs. Only operators and farming sector jobs trailed service jobs.
